Soul
Burning incense is often used in religious ceremonies to honour the ancestors and to show respect to the Buddha. This experience represents the teaching of Sunyat (emptiness or without form) in Buddhism. Smelling the smoke of incense can create a connection with the soul. My creative process is rooted in the practice of mindfulness and self-reflection, allowing me to connect with the ever-changing forms of the smoke as it mirrors the ebb and flow of my emotions.
